Course Description: Applied technology is a career based, cooperative learning computer lab, and is designed with 17 career based modules. Students work in pairs and are at a module for 7 days. They will get through 6 modules during 1 trimester. All modules integrate math, science, technology, careers, writing, reading, and research. The curriculum is delivered by the module computer and is based on video, text, graphics, and hands on activities. class is an exploration of the world of Life Sciences.  It emphasizes the use of the scientific method, and includes such topics as the cell, life cycles, human body systems and ecology.
