Partnership with the University of Colorado at Denver (UCD)

Niver Creek Middle School is involved in a partnership with the University of Colorado at Denver to train new teachers. Each year, teacher candidates are placed in classrooms at Niver Creek to serve residencies. During these residencies, the teacher candidates work closely with a clinical teacher who guides them along this process. This partnership is supported through the guidance and supervision of a Site Coordinator and Leadership Area Professor. Niver Creek's Site Coordinator is Janis Johnson and the Leadership Area Professor is William Munsell.
