Science

6th Grade Science is a yearlong core class that covers Earth science, rocks and minerals, weather, and astronomy investigations using the scientific method, This course aligns with science content standards and provides extension curriculum through Outdoor Education programs.

7th Grade Science class is an exploration of the world of Life Sciences.  It emphasizes the use of the scientific method, and includes such topics as the cell, life cycles, human body systems and ecology.

8th Grade Science class will be an exploration of the world of science using concepts in Physical Science.  It emphasizes the use of the scientific method, and includes such topics as an introduction to chemistry, physics, energy and earth resources.
