Powerschool is more than just a homework help site. Click on the students link for a variety of subjects. Utilize "Ask Jeeves" as a student search engine. Also available is a reference area, game section, and college prep information.

Alphabet Superhighway
Although this site offers links to help research and write term papers; it also contains tutorials and guides to help kids become better students. Check out the Challenge Chaser, a page with educational games for fun.

Ask Dr. Math
This site if one of the best math sites that the Web offers. It is searchable by grade level and covers information from elementary to college level. There is even a feature where you can ask Dr. Math for help.

WebMath
Offers brief lessons on everything from fractions to calculus to personal finances. There is even an automatic problem-solver for complex equations. It gives you an answer and an explanation.

EMR: Exercises in Math Readiness
This site offers lessons and exercises for introductory, moderate, and advanced students of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and set theory. Explanations are linked to picture examples or extra help links.

A+ Math
This site was designed for elementary and middle school students. There are fun math games as well as flash cards. With the homework checker, you can find out if your solutions are right or wrong ( won't give you the answer.)

Dave's Math Tables
This site is great for students who need a quick math reference rather than a detailed explanations. There are ten sections ranging from general math to linear algebra to calculus. In addition, there is a message board, suggested books and software, and additional links.

Social Studies School Service
This site was primarily designed for teachers, but is helpful for students as well. Use the Features menu to select a topic. The site brings up suggested essay questions, books, and videos. To browse Web site links only, just click on the Links tab.
